Third class ( second period)

     To finish my teaching practicum  in this second period, I had to work teaching a listening practice about weather conditions. It was a nice experience to work on it because the students took it seriouly, and I never had worked in this way.  The teacher  gave me the material and all the steps to develop it easily. So, it was easy  for me to plan the time for every single step.  Every student received a sheet of paper in which they had to complete the exercises according the  audios .  I had to play each audio twice because the students needed time to complete the exercises. After that, I checked the answers and provided some feedbacks to the students base on their answers. Second class ( second period)

    I had a hard day for my second practice because previously I had a meeting about a presentation. So, it made me to loose some minutes, and I arrived some minutes later to the classroom, and believe me that the teacher did not look friendly as she normally acts . But finally she gave me the opportunity to develop normally my lesson. The problem was that I did not have enough time to work on every activity that I had planned because I had to ommit one of them.     From my personal point of view I think that I did not develop well the exercises because I pressured the students to work quickly.  I had to develop one exercise more when the bell rang so it was a terrible for me because I did not complete my agenda. As a result of this situation. I decided to talk myself and find the possible solutions to manage my personal time better. 

First Class ( Second period)

    As every group that I have worked  in my practices, they have taugh me something new. So, this new group will help me to increase my skills at teaching ESL better than I am doing . Well, the day seemed dark and sad because a pouring rain was falling down there, and just a few number of students had arrived to the classroom because they had problems to arrive to their classroom. However, I had already written my agenda and all the details about the lesson on the board. The class started with a warm up to instroduce the new grammar structure to the students. T hey were divided in groups of four members and I provided them a quotation per each group. So, they had to read and discuss it with the members of the group. On the other hand I introduced them a   puppet that I took to my class. Third class

This is was my third class on English Access but  unfortunatelly for  of us who were sent there,  was not a good experience because it took much time to teach because the teachers almost do not have enough time free. I used to listen all my classmates talking about their teaching practice,and they were to seemed happy because they have already finished their first period teaching. But for me was totally different because I finished it later.  It is difficult work in this way because, we have to attend  homework for the other subjects. However, If I will talk about my last class, well, I do not have too much to tell you because I was commanded only to make a short review about the simple past. All the students participated on it, and I felt more confident to teach because I prepared just three different exercises to covert my teaching time. I do not know what I have to improve because the teacher never gave me feedback about my classes because he always was run...

Second Class

To my second teaching class I was commanded to talk about reactions and consequences. So, it was a new way of teaching because this kind of activities are for developing speaking skills. I designed  my lesson as always do and I was ready to teach without teaching grammar. I started my class developing a warm up called "Bippity Bop" that I learned from teacher Roni, It was good for the students because they like to have fun in every activity. I devoloped it making questions to the students that failed on it.  I guessed that I needed more time to work with this activitty but the time goes running and they need to work in another activities. The second activity students had to discuss and write ideas about a good action and a bad action. So, this kind of activities are useful to students because they develop empathy for other's problem. First teaching experience

     I have started teaching on  English Access to a great group of students between the ages of 12 to 14. However, they are not shy, they like to participate en every activity, and I became surprised when I asked for volunteers  and I had five raised hands. Now, I know that is important to develop more exercises in which they have to interact each other.    Firstable, I started the class playing tic tac toe, an amazing game that  children enjoyed a lot. It was developed normally and as I asked for volunteers, they did not hesitate to participate on it. Everything was good working with this group, and I personally recognize that there are  much learning waiting for me  in this area because students need  activities that help them to develop more skills  I made a short review about the grammar ( frequency adverbs) and I added some examples there, but I am sure that sometime I become nervous when I am in the front of the cl...
